The Victorian Emergency Relief and Recovery Foundation (VERRF) and the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) is collecting personal information about you in order to confirm your eligibility for a once off relief payment per household. We will require your banking details (BSB, account number and account name) in order to make the payment. Any personal information collected by DJCS will be handled in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014, the Health Records Act 2001 and the Public Records Act 1973. DJCS will share information with the VERRF and may share your information with local councils, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) or other areas within DJCS to verify the details you have provided and confirm your eligibility for a once off relief payment. If you do not provide the requested details, we may be unable to confirm your eligibility and provide you with a payment.
